I like discovering things, thinking about problems and figuring out how things work. The thing with science is that no matter what you are looking at it is always really interesting, and there are always questions to ask and problems to solve, and you tend to learn weird and useful things that you would never have thought about!

I agree with what Paul said and pretty much why I like science too. I like there is no end to science. We are constantly learning and discovering new things.

I like science because I’m fascinated by how the world works, and I always want to find a deeper understanding of why things are the way they are. When I see something, I don’t just accept that it does what it does, I always want to understand what causes it to do that. The good thing about science is that it allows me to do that every day in my job, and get paid to do it.

I like finding out how things work. I am practical (but you can be a theoretical scientist if you’re not!). I like that the skills I have learnt in my career are useful in many other aspects of my life too (public speaking, questioning information, being able to research and evaluate the reliability of information). And physics rocks!

I enjoy learning how things work and we get lots of cool equipment to play around with.
