There are three main treatments used for cancer: radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery. Chemo is treatment using drugs, and there are different drugs available. Radiotherapy can be done using photons, electrons or photons, which deposit energy at different places in the body. There is also a type of radiotherapy called brachytherapy, where radioactive beads are placed in contact with the tumour. There are then some other, more experimental treatments. So yes, there are a number of different types of cure for cancer.
