Technically, the whole world is made up of chemicals, so any time anyone has been injured, they’ve been injured by a chemical!

If you you mean “Have I been injured by something that is kept in a glass bottle in a lab, while wearing a white coat,” then no, I haven’t been injured by one of those chemicals, because the places I’ve worked have had proper health and safety procedures to make sure I didn’t come to any harm.

Nope. Luckily I am not involved with any chemicals in my day to day work. I don’t think I could cause much damage with some ultrasound gel.

Fortunately not! I always make sure to follow health and safety procedures when working with dangerous chemicals

Thankfully not. I always wear goggles and gloves when handling dangerous chemicals. We have health and safety procedures in our centre which cover many different hazards such as lasers, liquid nitrogen and liquid helium and very high magnetic fields.

Not that I can remember. I did once get a radioactive solution on my fingers, but no injury to any of my twelve fingers 😉
