My job is quite important as it helps the doctors diagnose what is wrong with patient and so they can give them the correct patient. It is important especially in patients who have suffered a stroke as if can identify if there is something wrong with their arteries then a surgeon can operate and hopefully stop them having another stroke that may leave them not able to talk or walk again.

To me: I like my job and I always try to succeed, because it gives me a sense of satisfaction and I like to succeed and to find stuff out. I work to live though, I don’t live to work.

I suppose it is reasonably important as I work on ways to help people with skin diseases, so if I keep doing my job well hopefully I can help lots of people!

Very important to the treatment of cancer patients. Physicists check that equipment is operating correctly, check that treatments have been planned correctly (what the Dr. wants), commission new equipment and techniques. Without radiotherapy physicists, cancer patients could not be safely treated.
