Psoriasis is a condition that is caused by the immune system which causes skin to keep on growing. As far as I am aware, there is no ‘cure’ for psoriasis, but it can be well managed with light treatments and different creams. It is usually a recurring condition.

Pityriasis rosea on the other hand is likely caused by a virus. It doesn’t usually have all the itchiness and soreness that psoriasis can present, and it will generally go away after a few weeks, and possibly never return!
