• Question: What is more dangerous: A Brain Aneurysm or an Abdominal aortic aneurysm?

      Both are very serious and an a medical emergency. Both are dangerous in the fact they produce no symptoms, so many people can have an aneurysm and not know about it until it ruptures. If emergency treatment is not sought it is highly unlikely the patient will survive- more so with a ruptured AAA due to the volume of blood carried in this large artery- so may have to say this is more dangerous. A brain aneurysm can rupture but not kill the person but they can be left with severe brain damage.
