Question: What's it like to be in brain surgery, what's it like to actually see a human brain?

It’s actually quite cool. Obviously it’s a very delicate operation, so it is fascinating to watch a very talented surgeon work. Seeing a brain wasn’t quite as gross as I thought it might be – the thing that jarred me the most but totally makes sense when you think about it is that the brain was beating due to the blood flow to it! Odd at first but it really is quite a fascinating thing to watch.
