  Cures for diseases usually come from lots of research and testing (there are lots and lots of very smart scientists who work on these every day and come up with brilliant and creative ideas!), but sometimes they are discovered by accident like penicillin! They usually counteract a virus or bacterium in our bodies that is making us sick, or they can kickstart our healthy cells to repair our body or fight off infections.

Question: where do all these amazing cures come from and how does that heal in our bodies?
