I don’t use nail polish very often so I am not really sure! Maybe if there are oils in the nail polish or on your nails, or if there are air bubbles from shaking the bottle

Haha Paul- do you only wear it on special occasions?
The bubbles are caused by a number of reasons: air getting into varnish, heat, oil within the varnish, excess moisture in the air, if the varnish is too thick or is the varnish is quite old.
You can try to prevent this by:
-ensuring you don’t shake your bottle
-ensuring you put the top on tightly- to avoid air sneaking in
-keep nail varnish in a cool place
