Question: You said if you won you would use the money for an interactive day to promote vascular science and the STP. How would that help our life we live in?

  I think it is highly important to promote healthcare science especially vascular science as there is such a shortage within the UK currently. I think it’s important to make the younger generation aware of the careers available to them. Vascular disorders are increasingly becoming the major causes of death within the UK so it needs to be an area that is addressed and recognised. One student one here came up with a fantastic idea of possibly using some of the money to promote the FAST campaign (for strokes/TIA’s) which I would really like to do. The more people that are aware of the symptoms of a stroke or a mini stroke no matter what age you are the better as it could help save a life.
